Pastor's Birthday

Last Wednesday night, after church, the members celebrated Pastor's 42nd birthday. This month also marks his 13th anniversary as pastor at FRMBC.
"What a joy it is to serve the Lord with such a wonderful group of people. My family and I have been so blessed these last 13 years here at FRMBC."

Willing Servants Quartet in Toledo

Last Saturday the guys sang at a Thanksgiving Fellowship hosted by Grace Missionary Baptist Church, of Toledo, Ohio. Bro. Raul Bergerman is the pastor. After dinner the guys sang 5 songs. Then Pastor Bill Brooks preached. After the message the guys sang "Jesus We Just Want To Thank You", which fit the occasion well.

Harvest Fellowship

Everyone had a great time at last Wednesday night's Harvest Fellowship and dinner. The food was great and the fun and games were... well... FUN!! Thanks to everyone who had a part in all the planning. You can see pictures at Harvest Fellowship Pictures.

Happy Birthday Mrs. Gill!

Recently the church celebrated, with the Gill family, the birthday of Mrs. Gill. She is now 80 years young. We praise the Lord for the many blessings He has bestowed upon her life.

Fall Cookout

This past Saturday we had our Fall Cookout. The Lord provided great weather and everyone that came out had a wonderful time of food and fellowship.

Baptism or ???

Willing Servants Quartet in Kentucky

We made it back from the trip Saturday night around 9 o'clock. We had a great time at the Bible Conference at the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, in Richmond, KY, where Bro. Cliff Christman is pastor. The guys sang in the Friday night service and the Saturday morning service. They did a great job. The preaching was very challenging and edifying and the fellowship was wonderful. We would like to thank Bro. Christman and the church there at Trinity for inviting us down to be a part of the conference. We were blessed and we hope we were a blessing to them!

New College & Career Bible Study Fellowship

We are going to begin a College & Career Bible Study Fellowship. We have some folks who have been and are beginning to enter into the busy life of young adulthood, with its wonder and excitement, as well as its challenges and responsibilities. As this ministry gets rolling, Pastor and Sandra will be ready, willing and able to minister to those who get involved by strengthening their faith and equipping them for Christian service.

We plan to begin this ministry next Thursday at 7:15 p.m., at the parsonage.

We're excited about what the Lord is doing in FRMBC. We anticipate what the Lord will do as we minister to people as they seek to be what He wants them to be and to do what He wants them to do, for His glory and their good.

New Youth Ministry to Begin

This Fall FRMBC is revamping our Teen Discovery ministry. Our Thursday night club will be designated by the name ProTeens "Sigma". The current set-up will remain with the exception of new "society" (or team) style club divisions. Not only will the youth earn individual points, but they will also earn points for their group (society) within the whole ProTeen club.

The teen Sunday school class (grades 7-12) will still be designated as the Victor Class to coincide with the other SS classes.

Beginning next Wednesday, we will begin ProTeens "Delta Force". This is a "membership only" class for youth (grades 9-12) who are members of FRMBC and faithful to church, Sunday School, and ProTeens "Sigma". The purpose of ProTeens "Delta Force" is for committed youth to undergo Biblical leadership training, in order to develop them for service to the Lord in and through His church.
