15 Years at FRMBC

This past Sunday the church celebrated my 15 years as pastor here. It was a wonderful day and my familly and I were overwelmed with the love that was demonstrated by our wonderful members. Thank you FRMBC - we'll never forget this blessed day!!

New Sermon Series

Pastor Hugan has begun a new series in the "Refine Your Vision" theme - "Making a Difference". These messages will center on how the Lord has made a difference in the lives of believers and how believers should be striving to make a difference for Christ.

Pastor Hugan is preaching this series on Sundays.

Church Ministry Seminar

Pastor Hugan has begun a Ministry Seminar for the purpose of instructing members in the area of Biblical Ministry Methods. This seminar will cover a seven-fold ministry philosophy that will serve as a guideline for how FRMBC can make a difference for Christ as we love God, grow together, and serve others.

Summer Youth Camp - 2009

We're gearing up for next week's Youth Camp 2009! Plans are in place and only the final details need to be added. We're working now, making copies of the schedule, purchasing last minute items, and praying that we'll have a God-honoring, Spirit-moving camp. Looking forward to seeing everyone again; many we only see a few times a year, and camp is at the top of the list as one of those times.
We've got a great theme that will challenge our youth to be "Different by Design" - God's design.

Summer is Here

Well, Summer here and so are the big Summer Events at FRMBC.

VBS starts next Monday - there's a lot to do before then. We're looking forward to a great week in "Polar Extremes"! July is Youth Camp month and August is Revival month. Yes Summer is busy, but what better work could be taking place than God's work! So we're determined to keep our hands on the plow and go forward in joy, knowing that if we serve God with a pure heart, we can see Him do great things!

FRMBI Graduation

Sunday, May 3rd was the graduation night for Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Institute. Bro. Matt Rowland graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies. While Bro. Matt was taking classes, he has been serving in the church in various ministries such as song leading; teaching the 5th &6th grade Sunday School class; teaching classes in our Christian Life Institute; and more. Bro. Matt will continue with practical "on-the-job" training anticipating the Lord's direction in his future life and ministry. Congratulations Matt, well done!
