Well, Summer here and so are the big Summer Events at FRMBC.
VBS starts next Monday - there's a lot to do before then. We're looking forward to a great week in "Polar Extremes"! July is Youth Camp month and August is Revival month. Yes Summer is busy, but what better work could be taking place than God's work! So we're determined to keep our hands on the plow and go forward in joy, knowing that if we serve God with a pure heart, we can see Him do great things!
Also, visit the web site to keep up with FRMBC.

Willing Servants Sing at Banquet
Recently the quartet had the privilege of singing for the Grace Missionary Baptist Church Sunday School teachers and church staff banquet. This was the first time for the group to sing somewhere that wasn't at a church. The guys thoroughly enjoyed ministering in song at the banquet.
Several people asked us if we were going to make a recording sometime soon. Well, we've looked into it and we're hoping that, when we get enough money, we'll be able to purchase a "portastudio" device that will enable recording on multiple tracks for the music and voices. The cost is around $800. We have $500 saved up. So whenever we can come up with the rest of the money, we'll start to record. Anyone desiring to donate toward the purchase of the "portastudio" will receive a CD when it is finished. Donations can be sent to:

Willing Servants Sing at Bible Conferece
The guys enjoyed a trip up to Covenant Baptist Church in Troy this past Saturday. We heard some challenging messages from Bro. Mark Clark Junior, Bro. Almond Katryan, missionary from Guyana, South America preached Friday night. Saturday's preachers were Bro. Bill Brooks, Bro. Mike Channell, Bro. Gary Harrah, and myself.
The guys sang during Saturdays services. They did a tremendous job. Their harmony and blend just keeps getting better all the time. We now have one more song to learn before we start working on a recording project. Actually, we will probably start working on the recording before we learn the new song.
Please pray the guys as they serve the Lord in this capacity. All four of them are very active here at the church, serving in various capacities. It's a blessing for this pastor to see them growing in the Lord and using their talents for His honor and glory in the Lord's church here at Flat Rock, as well as other sister churches.
